Singer Bobi Wine has joined the reckless parade. The singer was hospitalised about a week ago when he collapsed on stage for the third time in less than three weeks. Bobi was rushed to hospital where he was admitted and put on the drip. According to sources, Bobi passed out because of excessive drinking, fatigue and smoking.

A few days after he was released from hospital and ordered to get some rest, and lay off weed, if he wanted to prolong his life.

The defiant singer headed to a Radio and Weasel’s album launch partying and playing hard. He told the press present that no-one can stop him from smoking weed, not even Barbie (his wife).. and to show that he meant what he said, Bobi went on to down several beers whilst smoking weed.

Umm ok.

Hivi Common's yuko single?

Maybe that’s why a new rumor about the Just Wright star and tennis great being over is spreading so fast.Rhymes With Snitch reports that word has it that Serena and Common have grown apart and that was why we saw Common’s mom on the red carpet for the premiere of Just Wright and not Serena. And here’s what In Touch Weekly is saying:

Baada ya mahusiano yao ya miaka miwili, mcheza tenisi huyo maarufu Serena Williams, 28, na Rappa Common, 38, wameachana. “Kwa sasa wameachana,” alisema rafiki wa karibu wa mwanamuziki huyo. The duo made a last public appearance in April at the New York premiere of Date Night, but Common was acting single on the Tom Joyner Foundation Fantastic Voyage cruise while promoting the film Just Wright in mid-May. “He was a big hit with the ladies,” says a witness.

Is Rap Really A Young Man’s Game?

Remember when Cam’Ron and Jim Jones relentlessly poked fun at Jay-Z a few years back.

One of their jabs of choice was calling Hov old. Mind you, Cam and Jim were already 30-year-olds at the time. “You talkin’ bout you a ’80s baby. You 37 years old. You was born in 1968,” Cam mocked on “You Gotta Love It” featuring Max B. Actually, it’s ‘69, Cam. But who cares? For years we’ve been saying rap’s a young man’s sport. Rappers in their 20s even often vowed to stop spitting once they turned 30.

But here we are years later, and Jay-Z, arguably the biggest rapper in the game, is 40 years young. Last fall, the release of Hov’s Blueprint 3 made him the first 40-year-old rapper to go platinum. But Hov’s not alone. Drake is the only 20-something rapper listed in the Top 10 Highest Selling Rap Albums of 2009. See below.

EMINEM – Relapse : 1,533,184
BLACK EYED PEAS – The E.N.D. : 1,440,895
JAY-Z – The Blueprint 3 : 1,337,192
RICK ROSS – Deeper Than Rap : 401,103
JADAKISS – The Last Kiss : 342,132
FABOLOUS – Loso’s Way : 276,419
DRAKE – So Far Gone : 257,579
LONELY ISLAND – Incredibad : 246,526
FLO RIDA – R.O.O.T.S. : 241,030
50 Cent – Before I Self Destruct : 227,027

MTV’s annual Hottest MC in the Game list featured nothing but 30-plus rappers aside from Drizzy and Wayne. T.I., one of the game’s biggest stars, turns 30 later this year. Luda, Kanye and Jeezy are already 30. Outside of Young Money and Soulja Boy, it just feels like every relevant rapper is 30-plus or pushing it. Sure, I’m exaggerating, but the ratio of 30 year-old relevant rappers is seemingly higher than the ratio of rappers in their 20s. So, how is rap still a young man’s game?

Whoa!: 50 Cent Drops 70 Pounds

Curtis Jackson has went beyond the call of duty to make sure Hollywood knows he's serious about his acting career.

In the film Things Fall Apart, Curtis's character is a lean, mean, football running back machine who falls victim to cancer--a total flip on 50 Cent's aspiring body builder physique he's displayed on many shirtless occasions throughout his career . To prep for the part, he had to dropped over to 160 lbs. under a strict liquid diet with some treadmill exercise.

EDITOR'S NOTE: Various news outlets are reporting wacky figures on the approximate amount of pounds he's shed for the flick. I've seen 70, but the article in USWeekly has Curtis saying 54 lbs. Either way, this is what we'll be seeing on the big screen when the movie hits theaters.

Uh...wow. Yeah, so from the looks of it, he went the Christian Bale route where he practically starved himself into a skeleton for his role in The Machinist.

Curtis commented on his photos on his site ThisIs50.com “I was starving,” he said, “I’ve been eating. I’ll be back in shape in no time!”

His physique underwent quite a transformation, but he looks too mature to be a college student. Nonetheless, the film is being financed through his production company Cheetah Vision with his business partner Randall Emmitt. Money speaks louder than a leading seasoned actor, I guess. The film will also star Mario Van Peebles, Lynn Whitfield, comedian Mike P and Steve Eastin.

Cheetah Vision plans to co-finance and self-finance three to five films a year. The company wrapped up production on their latest film The Gun starring Val Kilmer, AnnaLynne McCord and, of course, Curtis in Michigan earlier in the year.

Nas & Kelis Divorce Finalized

Nas and Kelis are officially divorced. According to TMZ.com, the celebrity couple concluded their five-year marriage last Friday (May 21).

Kelis, who was seven months pregnant at the time, filed for the separation back in April of 2009, claiming irreconcilable differences. Since the announcement, Kelis has been extremely vocal in her issues with Nas, while the Queensbridge poet has remained mum.

In addition to the divorce, the judge has ordered Nas to pay Kelis about $10K a month for spousal support in addition to $44,000 in child support. Nas, however, has claimed he cannot afford the steep amount, revealing his income is "substantially less than that amount."

Neither Nas nor Kelis has released any statement addressing the divorce.

Memphis Bleek Gives Advice To J. Cole

Memphis Bleek spoke with Vibe.com touching an array of topics from his relationships with Beanie and Dame Dash to his album The Process. He also reveals some gems he dropped for J. Cole about working under Jay-Z's brand and what he thinks he should do as one of the most highly anticipated new artists out. After all, Bleek was in J. Cole's spot more than 10 years ago and has learned numerous lessons about the music industry.

VIBE: You have experienced the buzz and turbulence of being the next big New York MC after appearing on Reasonable Doubt and Vol. 2… Hard Knock Life. What advice would you give to someone like a J. Cole, who is experiencing similar buzz as the main hip-hop act on Jay-Z’s Roc Nation? BLEEK: I would tell him that everybody can’t just say, “Yo, I want to be my own boss.” You have to learn the business, but more importantly you have to have the right team around you. That’s where it starts first. Before you even meet a manager or a producer or a label you have to start with your homies. Because it won’t work if you have a bunch of foul people around you who just want to see negativity. J. Cole has to go all the way in. He shouldn’t listen to someone telling him how to make his music. He should follow his heart. He’s new… he’s not from the NYC, he’s from Fayetteville, North Carolina, so he’s bringing a whole new movement with him. J. Cole has a lot on his shoulders. He can never second-guess what he’s doing. VIBE: Would you have done anything differently with the heavy buzz you were riding early on in your career? BLEEK: After “Is That Yo Chick” I wouldn’t have had so many people around me. I wouldn’t have taken the vacation we took to Miami and the situation that happened to my brother [Ed Note: Bleek’s older brother was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident in Miami on Memorial Day weekend in 2000], God willing, probably wouldn’t have never happen. That’s what took some of my motivation away to do music. It was like losing your mind. Everything in the outside world I really didn’t care about because I was in jeopardy of losing my brother. From that point, it seems I was always trying to re-capture something. I was chasing that buzz. That’s why I tell J. Cole, Drake or any of the other new cats: Don’t ever let up. Because when you let up, there are new people coming for that spot.VIBE: So what does Jay think about your recent moves? BLEEK: When I told him he said people are going to respect you for that. As a man you have to do what you have to do. When I look at Jay, he’s building something new. We were on Roc-A-Fella, but that’s dead now. It’s like, come on…how long can I be putting stones in Jay’s mansion? What, are we going to build you mansion until it has 100,000 rooms [laughs]? And my crib still has one bedroom? I have to start putting stones in my house. And Jay has been all the way with it. VIBE: Jay-Z is set to co-headline two shows with Eminem in New York and Detroit in September. Has he given you any details about those shows given your part-time gig as his hype man extraordinaire? BLEEK: I’m going to keep it real. I usually don’t get any phone calls from Jay when it’s time for shows. I just get an email with an itinerary. Right now, we are supposed to start the overseas tour June 2. Jay is all the way in the South of France at the Cannes Film Festival. I just got my flight information from somebody else that I leave June 2 [laughs]. Crazy, right?

UNAMJUA MKALI WA KUDANCE

Jay-Z Has Breakfast With The Real Billionaire Boys Club

Really Jay? Breakfast with a bunch of billionaires to start your day like it’s nothing?

Earlier this morning, President Carter broke bed with Mayor Bloomberg, arena developer Bret Ratner and newly appointed majority owner of the NETS Mikhail Prokhorov. The powerful foursome discussed plans for the Brooklyn Nets and how they plan to reshape the team into a winning franchise.

There’s nothing really music related about this post, but whenever Jay is on his absurd Billionaire Boy ish, I always feel the need to share it with you good people.

Anyway, hats off to Mr. Carter, this man has proved time and time again that the sky is the limit. *Salute

Big shouts to the homey, G for shooting these flicks in my direction! Check out some exclusive flicks from the this mornings breakfast,

Diddy on Judging American Idol: "Please, Can I Have The Job?"

Diddy's job is never done. The Bad Boy mogul has expressed extreme interest in replacing Simon Cowell as a judge on FOX's "American Idol" competition after he exits the program this season.

Though Diddy's name has been passed through the rumor mill as a Cowell replacement, Puff himself has never verbally expressed an interest in taking on the job. But after discovering Cowell's weekly salary, Diddy insisted on being considered for the position.

"I have been fronting all this time, trying to act like I don't want that spot," Puff said. "But I spoke to Simon's business manager, and I found out how much that boy makes a week. I am praying right now to 'American Idol,' ... I want everybody to get on Twitter, MySpace, Facebook and say that Diddy should get the Simon spot -- but for the same amount of money that Simon was getting, else it's a deal-breaker. I'm tired of being cool: That number that Simon was getting a week is ridiculous. I can't even be cool with that. Please, can I have the job, whoever's in charge of giving that job?"

In related news, Diddy is slated to perform during the 2010 BET Awards, which is scheduled to go down June 27, 2010 at 8 p.m. on BET. Directly afterward, Diddy and company will host the official award show after party.

Diddy's "Last Train To Paris" LP will be released on June 28 with guest appearances from Drake, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, Justin Timberlake, Jay-Z and many more.

Bebe Cool, Wife Zuena Still in Hospital

Kampala — Local musician Moses Ssali a.k.a. Bebe Cool and his wife, Zuena, remain admitted at a Kampala clinic after they were involved in a road accident on Wednesday evening.
Although Zuena sustained cuts on her forehead and neck, X-ray and CT-Scan examinations showed the couple did not suffer internal injuries, Bebe Cool said.

He, however, complained of "pain all over the body" much as he had no external injuries.
A nurse at Kadic Clinic in Bukoto said the couple was out of danger, but cautioned that Zuena needed further observation.

Bebe Cool attributed the 5:00pm accident at Wabikonkome in Nakasongola district to a tyre burst.
He recalled that the driver, Rasta Tony, lost control after one of the back tyres ripped apart and the vehicle overturned.

"We were chatting when we suddenly heard a loud bang. Tony tried to control the vehicle, but he failed," he said.
An ambulance rushed them to the clinic.

Bebe Cool and Zuena were travelling to Kampala from Lira to mobilise residents to take part in the ongoing voter registration.

He said the burst tyre was the spare one, which mechanics in Lira had fixed at about midday before the journey to Kampala.
Other occupants in the vehicle were Brian, the artiste's associate, Siiwa, his bodyguard and a policeman.

Brian was also at Kadic, while Tony, who had pain in the back, was admitted at Mulago Hospital where he was being treated for "dislocation" of the back.
The crash is the second in the artiste's tribulations since the year began. In January, he, along with two others, was shot by a policeman after a misunderstanding.

Lil Wayne May Serve More Time Due to Contraband

So much for good behavior. Sources at Rikers Island have told MTV News Lil Wayne could possibly serve additional time for being caught with earphones and an mp3 player in his cell.

"You just get an infraction, a violation," the source told MTV News. "You lose some 'good time.'"

"It depends on the severity of the infraction," the source added. "Level one is the worst. Then you have [level] two or three. [This infraction] could be a level one. He has to go on trial, and based on evidence, they'll make their determination."

The source also told MTV that Wayne could lose his current job as a suicide-prevention aide due to his infraction. Wayne would have to go through a trial in front of a captain and correctional officer within 48 hours of the incident. As of May, there's no word on whether the trial has taken place.

Wayne was sentenced to serve one year in prison for gun possession stemming from a 2007 arrest.

Stay tuned as this story develops.

Eminem's "Not Afraid" to Debut at No.1 On Billboard Hot 100

Slim Shady reigns supreme with his newest single, "Not Afraid." Two weeks after releasing the triumphant single from "Recovery," it's set to debut at No.1 on Billboard's Hot 100 Chart.
Not only is "Not Afraid" set to reach the top slot on the Hot 100 chart, the offering also garnered 380,000 digital downloads in its first week, the highest sales week for a digital track in 2010.

Em's "Not Afraid" is the 16th single to debut at No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 52 years. Britney Spears' single, "3" was the last release to debut at No.1 back in October 2009.

Along with Diddy's "I'll Be Missing You" featuring Faith Evans and 112, which debuted at No.1 back in June 1997, "Not Afraid" is the only other rap single to debut atop the Billboard Hot 100.

Eminem's "Recovery" hits stores on June 22.

Jay-Z & Eminem Team Up For Hometown Stadium Concerts In September

New song Alpha ft Ay -Songa Mbele

Hello Friends

Started with spectacular voice, and then came the Fame and Fortune. This is not exactly what this kid thought when he enrolled himself in Tusker Project Fame Season 3, but that’s exactly what he got. Alpha came out a winner in this Talent show.

Afterwards he decided to record his music and put it out there for every one. Guess whom he chose to record it with...the same judge who told him most of the time during his performances, "I’m not impressed"-Judge Hermy, a Tanzania award-winning producer who happened to be in a panel of judges during the Tusker Project Fame.

Alpha traveled all the way from Rwanda to Tanzania to meet Hermy whom he already met before becoming a student in the academy. He also wanted to make use of B'hits Music facilities that he felt like home since he had been there before.

The song is a motivational kind, its titled "Songa Mbele" meaning just keep going or move on. Alpha is singing to his fellow Rwandans to move on from the whole 1994 tragedy that still hovers in majority of Rwandan’s.

N*E*R*D and Diddy Party With Oprah!

This week was fashion's biggest event of the year called the Met Gala where every celebrity you can think off spends money on jewelry and dresses that could bail Haiti out of starvation to upstage each other on the red carpet. It was quite a scene! Scroll down below for some flicks of Mary J. Blige, Joy Bryant, Jennifer Lopez (she had to be the best dressed there), Janet Jackson, and more.Well, after the show is the after party. Celebrities got down partying in their extravagant attire with Oprah at Anna Wintour's after party. There's a saying that's been floating around these days: "Pics or it didn't happen." Well we have proof that Oprah was standing on couches while grooving to N*E*R*D's new single "Hot N' Fun" while Diddy got busy as an honorary N*E*R*D member. Scroll down below for the flicksSpeaking of N*E*R*D, they sat down with MTV News to talk about their upcoming album Nothing that's hitting stores June 15. The group has been on tour since their last release Seeing Sounds in 2008 from colleges to opening for Kanye West & Jay-Z. Touring gave them the spices they needed to create their flavorful album Nothing. It wasn't an easy process. They recorded an entire album twice and scratched the projects until they came up with Nothing."It's funny — I think we were blessed in that sense," Pharrell explained. "The music is very psychedelic for the most part — 80 percent of it is definitely flower-power, counterculture, release and let yourself be free and have a great time!"

Pharrell also said they wanted to tap into a new understanding of the opposite sex and cater the album more toward women. The first single is "Hot N' Fun" and features Nelly Furtado, who the gang recruited for her distinctive tone.

"We think that the new definition of sexuality is the appreciation of life and the moment, and that's why people should have sex. For the most part, when you and her are there and you're having a special moment, it's like, 'Aww, man, I could have been anywhere in the world, but I'm here with you! This is amazing to me! This is so cool — let's do it,' " Pharrell laughed. "I'm so kidding, by the way."

"It's the ultimate spring, summertime record. It's the festival record, it's a fun record and it's geared towards the women," Shay offered. "What woman doesn't want to put on their sundress and stroll through SoHo and have that as their theme music?"
