Rumor Control: Is Diddy Dating Nicki Minaj Already?

I honestly hate addressing ish like this, but some people need to be led to water and told to DRINK. Anyway, a couple days ago, Diddy, Nicki Minaj, Amber Rose, Rick Ross and others headed to the left coast for a secret welcome home bash for the King (T.I.).

After the shindig, cameras caught Diddy and Nicki Minaj holding hands in the parking lot, which to me means SQUAT. I would question this gesture if they weren’t connected in any shape or form, but since Diddy has taken Minaj under his wing- this makes complete sense. And it should mean the same for you as well.

Why wouldn’t he hold her hand for 5 seconds while the paparazzi harassed the ish out of her? Come on guys, this is strictly platonic. Now if it were Cassie, I’d look the other way as I always do lol. Fabolous Looks To Live Greener Life

If going green means more time on God's earth, then Fabolous is all for it. So when the Be Seen Being Green initiative came knocking, Loso signed up right away.

Last month, when Fabolous attached himself to the Be Seen Being Green College tour in Miami, he didn't have the slightest clue as to what it meant to go green. However, learning on the spot isn't always a bad thing when you're one of hip-hop's more influential characters.

"To be honest, I was kind of ignorant to going green," Fabolous humbly explained to Black Entertainment Television.com. "But just because I wasn't informed definitely didn't mean I wasn't open to an alternative way of living, especially now that I have a two-year-old son. It's just a healthier choice."

The Brooklyn MC doesn't have any specific change of plans just yet; however, he did encourage his fans to explore a healthier lifestyle.

"Just as I did, I'd like my fans to go green," Fabolous requested. "I'm not using this initiative as a way to gain more fans, but being oblivious to the issue before and now having some keys facts under my belt, I feel everyone should at least attempt to give it a try. What they do after being introduced to going green is totally up to them."

As part of the Be Seen Being Green college tour, Fabolous along with R&B sensation Trey Songz, hit the stage at the University of Miami's James L. Knight Center, where both artists participated in a going green Q&A during the concert's intermission.

Kidum, Burundi’s  most respected singer, who has been lifting up Burundi's spirits from the tragedy with his soulful sound, with Tanzanian Dada vocal..this was made to be this sick that’s why they went to see the right doctor…i mean beat doctor Hermy B. 
 
So Kidum met Hermy during the Tusker Project Fame season three. And the second time when he was in Tanzania for the show. So he said he has an idea and he wished to record before this idea escaped his mind. Hermy offered his services and Kidum asked if he can handle live music and he was brought to the state of the Art studios at B'hits Music Group Tanzania. It was not difficult to get Lady Jaydee as she has been recording with Hermy her yet to come album that has already rolled two hits like Mtarimbo Doro and Teja.
 
The song is about a lover who is really not perfect and has been messing up for sometime, asking for forgiveness and for his partner to tolerate his imperfections because in the end he loves her deeply. 50 Cent To Launch Invitation Tour May 28

In preparation for his Black Magic release this Summer, Fif is heading back out on the road for this North American Invitation tour.

The trek is scheduled to commence on May 28 and will end on June 25. According to a source over at G-Unit, Lloyd Banks will join Fif on the Invitation tour as the show’s opener. No word on whether or not Tony Yayo will joint Fif and Banks.

After catching a financial beating from Kelis, the Diva has now served the Queensbridge poet a domestic blow as well.

According to TMZ.com, Kelis is doing everything in her power to press the fast forward button in severing ties with Nasir by filing another set of divorce papers. With Nas JUST catching up on his child and spousal support payments, I can understand the cold gesture from Kelis.

Wow, did Akon just shoot some ether at Christina Aguilera? In a recent interview with Vibe.com, the Konvict mogul cleared up any confusion about comparisons made between Lady Gaga and Christina Aguleria:

“Aw man, that’s not even any competition,” Akon tells VIBE. “You are actually giving Christina too much credit. She always had her cool little look and way about how she went about things. But soon as Gaga came out everything switched up. Christina stepped out of her own shell to become something different. And the crazy thing is Christina is really talented. Diddy New Manager Of Nicki Minaj & Rick Ross

Sean "Diddy" Combs cannot be stopped. The Bad Boy mogul has reportedly taken on manager duties for both Nicki Minaj and Rick Ross.

According to Billboard.com, a source close to Diddy confirmed that Minaj, who fired her manager Debbie Antney this past weekend, is joining forces with Puff after almost linking with Lady Gaga's manager, Troy Carter. Carter was reportedly on the verge of co-managing Minaj with Puff, but sources say Gaga threatened to leave him if the deal went through. Diddy is said to be managing Nicki with James Cruz instead.

In addition, Ross is also joining Diddy's new client list. The Miami native announced that a big announcement was coming during his interview with Power 105.1's DJ Envy, earlier this week.

"Big shout out to my brother Diddy," Ross said. "We have a big announcement to make real soon, so stay tuned for that." Diddy and Ross have been working closely as of late. The Bauwse was featured on Dirty Money's "Angels" Remix and the two appear on Waka Flocka Flame's "O Let's Do It" Remix.

Almost two years after filing a lawsuit against Rick Ross for being assaulted during the Ozone Awards weekend in August 2008, DJ Vlad has been awarded $300,000 in damages.

A Manhattan federal jury found Ross responsible for orchestrating Vlad's beat down. He'll be rewarded with $50,000 compensatory damages, and $250,000 in punitive damages in a New York federal court.

"As an individual that covers breaking news in the hip hop world...I am grateful that the jury punished Rick Ross for setting me up, when all I was doing was covering the news and making commentary," Vlad told the NY Daily News. His lawyer, Brian Caplan, added, "There is no place in civilized society for members of the media to have to fear retribution for their news coverage and commentary."

Vlad initially filed a $4 million dollar suit against Ross, claiming the Miami MC ordered his crew to beat him down after he published a story on his website, VladTV.com, outing Ross as a former correctional officer.

Ross then reached out to Vlad requesting the two meet face to face. The meeting resulted in Vlad being assaulted by several of Ross' associates. The DJ suffered a broken eye socket that required stitches, numerous facial fractures, a corneal abrasion and possible permanent nerve damage.

Awful Or Awesome: Ciara ft. Ludacris- Ride

I’m going to be honest with you right now- I’m just not feeling this track. Ciara’s first single, “Ride” featuring Ludacris and written by The-Dream, doesn’t really do anything for me. I mean it’s not GOD AWFUL, but it lacks personality.

Not to mention, it takes waaaaaaaaaay to long to get to Ludacris‘ verse. The beat, which was produced by Tricky Stewart, doesn’t add any excitement to the track and it doesn’t sound like something I could rock to in the club (yes I know every song isn’t meant for the club).

Maybe I haven’t heard it that much to judge it, so I’ll give it a few more chances. What do you think??????

Olivia's Manager: "We Never Said That We Worked With Drake"

Olivia's manager, Richie Dollaz, would like to set the record straight once and for all. "Control," a record from the former first lady of G-Unit featuring Drake, leaked on the internet this weekend. Many were skeptical about the track's authenticity and began to question it.

This morning (April 13), Drake released a statement apologizing for anyone being misled by the collaboration. "I’ve never worked with Olivia and I apologize to any fan who was duped into thinking that ‘Control’ was a collaboration of mine,” Drake said in a statement.
Hours later, Dollaz contacted BET.com to explain the logistics behind the mysterious collabo.
"First off, we never said that we worked with Drake," Dollaz told BET.com. "Let’s be clear to everybody out there who’s been trying to hate. If you look at any of the interviews we’ve done before this little fiasco, we never said we did. What happened was we got a record from some Canadian producers.

"Next thing you know this past Saturday I’m on the internet and the record is going crazy, everyone is calling me," Dollaz explained. "People are calling me about this record that’s on the internet but we didn’t release the record. If you go back to any of Olivia’s Twitters from Saturday you will see that the record was leaked.

We never put the record out. I’m assuming the dudes in Canada leaked the record. I mean, it is what it is. The record was never for Olivia’s album, it was a mixtape record at best. I really don’t know what all the commotion was about, really. I don’t know what Drake’s stance is, but it’s really not my issue. His issue isn’t with us, it is with the people who put the record out."

Woman Beats 50 Cent Associate in 2008 Lawsuit

Shana Chin, 24, was recently rewarded $30,000 in her lawsuit against Dwayne McKenzie, an assistant for 50 Cent.

On Thursday (April 8) morning, a Waterbury, Connecticut Superior Court judge ruled in favor of Chin, who filed a lawsuit against McKenzie for assaulting her in the bathroom at the rapper's Connecticuit mansion after a Memorial Day party back in 2008.

Chin, who was said to be dating McKenzie, originally sought $100,000 for the suit. Judge Joseph Pellegrino stated there was enough evidence against McKenzie to support Chin's claims.

McKenzie was arrested right after the incident and has been enrolled in a violence education program. Representatives for 50 Cent have yet to comment on the matter.

Woods Comes Up Short at The Masters

Tiger Woods get an A for effort (and a F- for his foul mouth) but his attempt to win his fifth green jacket at The Masters following a 20-week layoff came up short on Sunday.

And of all the guys to win, Phil Mickelson, his biggest rival on the PGA Tour, won by three strokes over Lee Westwood.

It was good to finally give a damn about golf once again with Woods back but a victory in his first tournament back might have been asking too much of Woods.

He showed glimpses of greatness at times but his swing gradually got worse during the weekend, a possible sign of rust.

When will we see Woods back on the golf course? Not even he knows at the moment.

“I’m going to take a little time off and kind of re-evaluate things,” Woods said.

Warner Bros. Threatens to Sue Hip-Hop Blogs

Warner Bros., home to Gucci Mane, is reportedly threatening to file copyright infringement lawsuits against a number of hip-hop sites and blogs for making the rapper's mixtapes available for download.

According to Newindustrytips.com, coast2coastmixtapes.com is one of the site Warner. is threatening with legal action. In addition to Gucci, the site hosts mixtapes from rap and R&B acts like Nas, DJ Khaled, DJ Drama, Keri Hilson, Snoop Dogg and many more.

“The funny thing is we don’t host any files on our site,” Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes CEO Kyle “Lil Fats” Hiersche told newindustrytips.com. “We help promote music to the fans and use other parties to help our efforts, meaning we don’t host any files but use providers like datpiff.com to stream music. When we we’re asked to remove all files we questioned the basis of the claims, stating that we in fact don’t host any music on the website. We like to promote music of all kinds but if Warner Bros. Records doesn’t want to be included then we will gladly stop promoting all their artists.”
