Kelis Puts Rush On Divorce With Nas

After catching a financial beating from Kelis, the Diva has now served the Queensbridge poet a domestic blow as well.

According to TMZ.com, Kelis is doing everything in her power to press the fast forward button in severing ties with Nasir by filing another set of divorce papers. With Nas JUST catching up on his child and spousal support payments, I can understand the cold gesture from Kelis.

Early last week, contempt charges were dropped when Nas decided to fork over $50,000 in back payments. Still, a lump sum is owed by the rapper. Kelis stated, “It would be in the best interest of both of us if our marital status is terminated as soon as possible.”

Chances of a reunion? Not in a million years. Kelis wants OUT- forever! She added, “I believe there’s no reconciliation with Nas.”
