Plus-size singer Rihanna wowed the crowd at the World premiere of the film ‘Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets’ at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, California on Monday.
Rihanna, winner of the CFDA 2014 Fashion Icon Award, wore an off-the-shoulder pink tulle couture gown by Giambattista Valli Couture and lace-up Manolo Blahnik heels.
Rihanna stars as “Bubble” in the Sci-Fi action thriller that also stars Cara Delevingne, Clive Owen and Ethan Hawke.
The movie is based on the comic book series and is set in the 28th
century on a planet inhabited by a thousand species from all over the
universe.
Delevingne, pictured right, plays Laureline, a special operative
assigned to help maintain order throughout the human territories. As you
can expect, there has been grumbling among real actors who object to
Rihanna and Cara grabbing plum roles in big budget movies.
