Khloe Kardashian Sued for Posting Her Own Photo On IG

A British paparazzi agency filed a copyright infringement lawsuit against L.A. socialite Khloe Kardashian for posting her own photo on Instagram.com.
The agency, Xposure Photos Ltd., filed the lawsuit against Kardashian for posting an image one of their photographers snapped of her.

The photographer captured images of Kardshian and one of her sisters heading to Kimodo restaurant in Miami in September. The images were “exclusive” because no other photographer took the same photos. Exclusive images are worth a lot more than photos taken on red carpets by multiple photogs.
Xposure Photos is seeking $150,000 — the revenue they claim was lost when Kardashian made the exclusive “photograph immediately available to her nearly 67 million followers” on Instagram.com.
In response to the lawsuit, Kardashian refused to allow paparazzi to take photos of her arriving at a Calabasas, CA. studio today. But that will only hurt her in the long run — unless she plans on hiring her own paparazzi to supply photos to her friends at TMZ.
Photo agencies such as Xposure and Splash News are hiring attorneys to crack down on social media users who upload exclusive photographs that normally sell for $500 or more to magazines and newspapers.
