Ruth Matete: TPF5 WINNER

- Ruth Matete, 26 yesterday shocked the country when she was voted by the public as the best artiste among 4 finalists in Tpf 5. In tears Ruth fell on the ground when her name was announced by an EABL executive.

Ruth was among the best four contestants, who were left standing after 8 weeks in the house. Among them was Jackson from Rwanda, Joe from Burundi and Doreen a.k.a cry baby from Kenya. Jackson rocked the house with his outstanding performance; Ruth followed him with a rock and roll performance which showed the world that they were ready to be super stars.

Doreen in the past weeks in the house has been seen as a troubled big baby with inferiority complex and seems to have been seeking for sympathy from her fans; she however got a soft spot from her college mates because she was saved by their votes every time she was put on probation.

She was lucky to take the first runners-up position overtaking one of the best contestants-Jackson- who came 2nd runner up and Joe being the last.

Ruth carried home cash amounting to Sh. 5 million which was dramatically presented by G4S security guards. She also got a one year recording contract with Universal Record worths Sh. 10 million.

We at the DAILY POST wish Ruth success in her music career.
