LIL WAYNE JOINS TWITTER DAYS BEFORE HE'S DUE IN JAIL

Only seven more days until Lil Wayne heads to prison on a felony weapons charge and he’s been one busy dude. Besides getting some last minute shows and partying in, having eight root canals (eew! It must’ve been mad rotten under those grills), shooting a bunch of videos to tide us over while he’s away and hopefully taking some time out to make rounds to see his mini tribe of kids, Weezy F. Baby has also taken the time to join Twitter.

Wayne joined the social networking site just last night, tweeting under the name @liltunechi , and has already amassed over 66, 000 followers. He chose the very dark picture above for the account and his first tweet reads: “im super new to this twitter sh-t but wudup tho !……….follow me biot¢h……….wudup mak……happy bday LO……8 days of freedom..ym”

Really, I’m surprised that MTV didn’t jump at the chance to do a pre-prison reality show like they did for T.I. before he started serving his time, but this will have to do for all the Weezy fans out there! Can’t wait to see what else he has to say before he’s behind the wall.
