Michelle Williams Fires Matthew Knowles as Manager

Michelle Williams, an actress, singer and member of the multi-platinum selling group Destiny’s Child has fired Matthew Knowles and Music World Entertainment as her business manager.

In a statement released by Williams, she said while she will remain close to the Knowles’ family it is time to move on professionally.

“After much prayer and consideration I have decided to part ways from my management team, Mathew Knowles and Music World Entertainment. From my time in Destiny’s Child to my solo career, I am grateful for everything Mathew and his team has done for me. We’ve shared great success together.

However, as I move in a new direction in my career, I felt it was time. I wish Mathew Knowles and the Music World Entertainment family all the best.”

Williams is the second member of Destiny’s Child to fire Knowles. Kelly Rowland parted ways with her mentor last year. Knowles daughter, Beyonce remains with her father
