Diamond Platnumz never disappoints but this time round, he has outdone himself. He successfully dropped two hot videos as promised to celebrate his mum’s birthday and they are all bomb. The much awaited video for his latest single ‘Mdogo Mdogo’ is finally out and it is sizzling; the concept is great, quality is tops and the audio has those African beats that make you want to break into dance.
If you observe closely, the video’s concept is little bit like Davido’s aye only that Diamond has modified it and taken the level a bit higher. Am not just saying this because am a super fan of his but because in him, I see an artiste who is always looking to be better and that means learning from other artistes. When we talk about identity and promoting the African culture through music, Diamond and Davido are making Africa shine and I wont be surprised if the two battle again during next year’s BET Awards.
