Tamar Braxton Stable But Still Unconscious After Apparent Suicide Attempt

Tamar Braxton was rushed to the hospital late last night after her boyfriend, David, discovered her unconscious in the Ritz Carlton Residences in downtown L.A.

A 9-1-1 call from David Adefeso, Tamar Braxton's boyfriend of about a year and a half, reveals the singer had apparently taken an unknown amount of prescription meds while simultaneusly drinking alcohol. He found her unresponsive, and reportedly said he believed it was a suicide attempt.

LAPD confirmed to The Blast:

"...they received a call around 9:45 P.M. in regard to a 43-year-old female who had a medical emergency listed as a “possible overdose.”"

Yesterday, WEtv announced Tamar's new docuseries "Get Ya Life". Apparently, that may have caused extra strain on the "Love and War" singer who has been frustrated with how the network has been treating her and her family.

Despite yesterday's announcement of her own new WEtv docuseries, Tamar has been airing out her frustrations with the network this week about her and her family being underpaid for their "Braxton Family Values" show and spinoffs.  She said that in comparison to The Kardashians, The Braxtons are not being paid what they're worth.  "BFV" has aired for 6 seasons and a total of 142 episodes and has delivered consistently high ratings for the network.

Still, WEtv seemed to be going ahead with "Get Ya Life" as it's set to premiere July 30 at 10/9c. According to the press release, the series will be showing the ups and downs of her life as a co-parent with estranged husband Vincent Herbert, her family and her career:
