Halle Berry Cancels Broadway Plans Due To Custody Battle!

The fight for baby Nahla continues. Halle Berry was confirmed to star in the Broadway play The Mountaintop this upcoming fall. However, plans have been cancelled due to her ongoing custody battle. Read on for the deets...

Back in February we reported that Halle and Gabriel Aubry were going back and forth with nasty accusations to gain an upper hand in the custody battle.

In the fictional production, Halle was set to portray Camae, a hotel maid at the Lorraine Motel in Memphis. Now, according to the producers' statement, the actress will no longer be starring in the play the production due to "custody issues."

The Mountaintop will still open on Broadway this Fall with Samuel L. Jackson starring as Martin Luther King, Jr. No word yet on who will replace Halle.
