SAY GOODBYE TO WEEZY

We’re going to miss you, Weezy! Well, today’s the day. After 2 lucky ass delays, Dwayne Carter is hitting Riker’s Island today. Well first, he has to receive his official sentence, which is slated to be an 8 month slap on the wrist for a 2007 gun arrest in NYC. Officials are claiming Wayne will serve 8 months of this 366 day sentence.

He was originally scheduled to hit the big house in early February, but last minute dental work to his grill delayed the proceedings. After rescheduling the sentencing to March 2nd, an unexpected courthouse fire granted Weezy 5 more days of freedom.

The Grammy Award-winning spitter is ready to face a judge today to receive his official sentence. Directly after Wayne will turn himself in and we won’t see Weezy for a solid eight months.

Since Wayne has a couple more hours of freedom and he’s probably reading this, why don’t you guys give him some final words of encouragement before he hits the big house. Keep it positive, though. I know Weezy’s got some haters out there lol. Ready? Set? GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
