Ludacris: "I Consider Myself A Damn Legend"

After 10 years in the game, Atlanta rapper Ludacris knows the exact position he’s in. Releasing his first effort -- the animated "Back for the First Time" -- in 2000, the DTP boss quckly became one of rap’s brightest stars.

Three Grammy Awards and six albums later, Luda is an undeniable household name. And on the week of his seventh studio release, the conceptual “Battle of the Sexes," Luda’s position on the hip-hop totem pole is clearly above the rest.

Speaking with BET.com on the set of "106 & Park" earlier this week (March 10), Luda showed no hesitation in calling himself a hip-hop legend.

“Do I consider myself a legend?” Luda asked. “I absolutely do consider myself a damn legend after 10 years in the game. Yeah.”

Ludacris' "Battle of the Sexes" is in stores now.
