Comedian Kevin Hart and actor/rapper Tip “T.I.” Harris are developing a comedy TV series together. The Ride Along star and T.I. will executive produce and make appearances on the show, titled The Studio, which will center on the comedy hijinx in a recording studio.
Now that Tip’s scripted reality TV series, T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle, has ended, the father-of-7 wants to continue working in television.
Everybody Love Chris producer Aeysha Carr is writing the series, which has been picked up by Showtime Network.
via WENN.com — The new project comes at a busy time for Hart and T.I. – the comedian is set to star in reboots of Jumanji and The Great Outdoors, while he’ll also reprise his role in the third installment of the Ride Along franchise.
T.I. is also set to appear in films Krystal and Ant-Man and the Wasp.
Kevin and T.I. previously collaborated on the comedian’s album Kevin Hart: What Now? (The Mixtape Presents Chocolate Droppa).
