Former NBA Player Shot in the Leg at T.I.’s Restaurant

Gunfire erupted outside rap mogul T.I.‘s popular Scales 925 in Atlanta on Sunday evening.
The Atlanta Journal reports that a group of men got into an argument inside the restaurant and they were asked to leave.

But once outside, the argument escalated and a single gunshot rang out. Former NBA player Glen Rice Jr. was hit once in the leg. Surveillance video shows Rice running from the scene and discarding a loaded weapon in a stairwell before getting into a Porsche.
Atlanta police pulled over the Porsche and noticed Rice bleeding from a gunshot wound in his leg. A subsequent search of the sports car turned up 240 grams of weed and $6,000 in cash.
Police charged Rice with reckless conduct and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
The driver of the Porsche, Steven Pryor, is connected to a 2012 incident involving Rice and a shooting at Halo Lounge near the Georgia Tech campus.
Pryor was arrested in the 2012 incident and charged with discharge of a firearm while under the influence.
Rice was also charged in the 2012 incident — with permitting unlawful operation of a vehicle.
Rice was kicked off the Georgia Tech football team following that incident.
Rice was waived by the Washington Wizards NBA team in January.
