Oscar-winning actress Lupita Nyong’o travelled to
Kenya to join the movement to save African elephants from extinction.
The 32-year-old Star Wars actress, who won an Oscar for 12 Years a Slave,
called her visit to the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage and Amboseli
National Park “life changing.” She went to Africa to help save the
elephants who are being slaughtered for their expensive ivory tusks.
