Before his birthday, Davido dropped a new tune titled ‘Owo Ni Koko’ off his forthcoming sophomore album, and also reportedly spent $8,000 (N1.3m) to book an all-weekend suite at the luxurious Wynn Las Vegas and Encore Hotel for himself and members of the HKN Gang as part of his birthday celebration.
In the spirit of the celebration, his spending spree knew no bounds as he displayed his wealth and affluence. He was reported to have lavished close to N15million to mark his birthday.
Still on his spending spree, Davido rewarded members of his team who have been hugely instrumental in helping him conquer the African music scene in the outgoing year, 2014.
The 'Aye' crooner reportedly splashed over N30m on brand new cars for both his manager, Kamal Ajiboye, and his producer, Sheyi Akerele, better known as Shizzi.
For his manager, the singer was said to have given him a brand new black Mercedes 450 GL valued at N12m while his producer reportedly gave him a brand new black Porsch Cayenne valued at N24m.
