Media tycoon Nick Cannon will need a little more work done to completely erase that oversized ‘Mariah’ tattoo from his back.
Cannon, 34, thought he was crazy in love with Mariah when he
commissioned a tattoo artist to create what he believed would be a
permanent tribute to his wife.
But after 6 years and 2 children together, the couple fell out of
favor with each other and parted ways. Now Cannon is enduring the
painful process of removing the tattoo in multiple sessions.
“It wasn’t supposed to be revealed yet,” said Cannon, referring to
the new tattoo of Jesus on a cross that obscures the old tattoo.
“I had just gotten it done. it was painful. It hurt a lot and I’m
still not finished, I’m still probably like six more sessions away.”
Cannon was rumored to be creeping with socialite Amber Rose, who is
also going through a divorce from her husband, rapper Wiz Khalifa.
“I’m just taking everything one day at a time and just being the best
person that I can possibly be at the end of the day,” Cannon told Extra
on Wednesday.
He added that he wishes Carey “nothing but the best.”
