Of all the successful musicians East Africa and Africa as a whole
has produced, Diamond would definitely make the list of top five.
It has not always been a bed of roses for this Tanzanian sensation.
Before all this fame and money, Diamond was a struggling musician trying
to make a name for himself. Here is a photo we landed of him back in
the days before he became as famous and obviously younger and skinnier.

After his music career kicked off, there was no turning back for
Diamond and ever since, the amazing transformation has been evident.
From the way he dresses, to how he rolls (cars and all) and even to his
accessories. Diamond has since started a clothesline selling Wasafii
t-shirts and shoes.
His music career has also risen to great heights seeing him collabo
with some of the best artistes in Africa and even getting invitations to
