A few weeks ago the internet was rife with a "Tweef" between Hudda and a Tanzanian radio presenter who is supposedly dating Kenya's king of bling Prezzo. Vibeweekly's Patrick Sampao spoke to Morales Gissele aka Diva about her love life and work. She also talked about her relationship with Prezzo.
Tell us a little about yourself…
Started radio in 1998 and am 25years this year and my show is all about love' soul music kinda show and been successful 5years in a row. I so love my show and got big love for my fans, whom I call #Teamdiva, they always support me love and always there for me for better, for worse.
I have my foundation in Tanzania called 'Diva Giving for Charity’ and it helps orphans by taking them to school and taking care of their fees. I conduct fundraisers each year just to help out because when I was a little girl, I watched television and saw how Children were suffering and I was like, when I grow up, I need to help the young children. I was not raised by my biological mom, in fact I have never seen her in real life. I lost her when I was young, so I understand what orphans and motherless children go through and because I am in media and I got an opportunity to help I am doing just that.
You host a show on CloudsFM, what is it about?
My show is called Ala Za Roho. It is an exciting and fun show. It’s craziness has made the show success it is today. The fans end up becoming your friends while haters always talk about it, makes it exciting.
I have interviewed many artists from Africa and USA on my show on their visits to Tanzania and I can gladly say that I love my job and am happy with where I am right now, such a peaceful life.
Who are your favorite artists in East Africa?
In Tanzania, my favorite artist is Mwanafa and only Mwanafa, he is our very own Jigga. Massive fan of him and he is my very good friend as well. He is such a Legend.
In Kenya, Prezzo is my favorite artist. I love Amani as well, Avril and Eric Wainaina.Oh and didge too. Didge is my very good friend as well.
Now that you’ve mentioned it, tell us about you and Prezzo. How did you meet?
It was love at first Sight, how Prezzo has changed me, I'm the happiest, I was under a lot of stress and had been depressed for months and when he walked into cloudsfm studios, I knew it was love at first sight.He just came and brought me back to life, he resurrected me; he is the light in my life.
He is heaven sent , he is an Angel and I so love his voice not to mention the way he laughs. I totally love the way he laughs, he can just make your day for all the right reasons. Prezzo is the Best of me.
That’s a lot of praise you have for him. Would you marry him if he proposed?
Married to Prezzo? Only time will tell, I don’t want to talk a lot about this but he is such a sweetheart, such a darling, so nice that any woman would wish to have him as a very good husband. He loves his child so much and that makes him a good hubby to any woman who dreams of getting married to him including ‘The Diva’ Lol.
Would you relocate to Kenya in the eventuality of your marriage?
Um… I love Tanzania, this is my home. As a matter of fact, I 'd do anything for Prezzo, support him and all that but I can't leave my country and I also love my job so I can’t move anywhere else. Let's hope Prez moves here Tanzania as Tanzanians love him much as an artist.
I love Kenya and I can't wait to be there, I think Kenya is a good country, with great artists and clean-hearted people. Tanzanians as a whole love Kenyans.
Did you know the Goldie?
I loved Goldie and I watched her keenly on BBA. I was so sad when I heard that she passed away. Tanzanians also mourned her but God’s work needs no correction. She was such a beauty and you could see her good nature from most of her interviews, may God rest her soul in peace. Prezzo mentions her everyday and is always posting her pictures on BBM; it shows he still remembers her.
What was your recent tweef with Huddah Monroe about? Did you eventually iron it out?
About Prezzo Ex hud mon whatever… she just attacked me about Prezzo on Twitter and I asked why because I don’t know her or anything about her. Then she told me that she is ‘The Boss Lady’ and I simply told her ‘I am technically ‘The Boss’ because I own him now and you better move on and leave me alone’.
If she has an issue with Prezzo, she should deal with him not me. I eventually blocked her after Prez told me that that is how she is. She attacks whoever is close to him.
In fact Prezzo was like ‘as far as I know, you are my girlfriend and not the other lady. I don’t even follow her on Twitter.’

As a radio Persona my life is a mess but always happy coz I got them fans, awarded as best radio personality 3years in a row with Babkubwa magazine and SFC and God is Good. I am Thankful.
