Uganda’s ragga artist Bebe Cool dedicated last
Friday to charity. The morning found him cleaning Mulago Hospital and in
the afternoon he was raising funds for children suffering from Sickle
Cell Disease at a car boot sale at Legend Rugby Club.

joined the Mulago Hospital staff in a thorough clean up of the hospital
before later attending the ‘Sickle Cell Car Boot Sale,’ a Bank of
Africa initiative aimed at raising funds and blood for children affected
by the ailment.
Bebe’s career in music began in Nairobi, Kenya in
1997 before he relocated back to Uganda. His music revolves around the
English, Luganda and Swahili languages.He has won several awards and was
part of the East African Bashment Crew together with the Kenyan duo,
Necessary Noize. He is best known for his hit singles ‘Fitina’ and
‘Mambo Mingi’.
