LeAnn Rimes and Brandi Glanville still fighting over Eddie Cibrian

The war of words between country singer LeAnn Rimes, 30, and actress Brandi Glanville, 40, took an ugly turn yesterday.

The ongoing public feud between Glanville and Rimes appears to have taken its toll on Rimes, who is married to Glanville’s ex-husband, actor Eddie Cibrian.

In a rare public display of emotions, Rimes broke down in tears after Glanville told a reporter “She can go f*ck herself,” during a Q&A session for her book signing at Gilt City in LA.

Unable to move on in a healthy way after her divorce, Glanville has attacked Rimes verbally and in print for years, always accusing the country star of breaking up her marriage to Cibrian.

At a book signing on Monday for her book “Drinking and Tweeting: And Other Brandi Blunders”, Glanville uttered the now infamous line “She can go f*ck herself.” She added: “Well, she has to, because who wants to.”

But Glanville admits she is consumed by guilt after all the trash talk about Rimes.

“I go home and think about them. I have a conscience,” she said. “I definitely feel bad about certain things and when I’m wrong I say sorry.”

Glanville says she did nothing wrong in her 9 year marriage to Cibrian (pictured above with actors Eriq LaSalle and Michael Beach). Their marriage produced 2 children, Jake Austin Cibrian, 5, and Mason Edward Cibrian, 9.

“I loved so hard. I loved my children and my family was perfect,” Glanville laments. “I did everything I could for him and the boys and to make him not want to stray.

“So when it happened, especially with someone as attractive as her…” Glanville paused briefly to collect her thoughts before turning her attention to her book — which no doubt has entire chapters devoted to bashing Rimes.

“I’m expecting a cease and desist,” Glanville says. “After this [book release] happens… after the book is out, I promise I’m closing this chapter of my life.”
