Marya, Jimmy Gait, Redsan and Camp Mulla to know their fate…….KORA awards

Tomorrow the coveted KORA awards will be held as Kenya’s sassy songstress Marya goes head to head with other music giants contesting for the Best Female artist in East Africa category.
Some time back socialite Huddah Monroe started beef with the Ogopa signed songstress Marya about her track Sishiki simu. According to Huddah the track missed it, if you missed the beef read the tweets below:
"@HUDDAHMONROE @maryaogopadjs truth is I didn't abuse u. I just wondered aloud why you'd sit down and write a song like 'Sishiki Simu.' My thoughts."
"@HUDDAHMONROE If I dissed Wahu, STL, Amani and many others with talent, I'd be committing twitter suicide but a fat brown skin woman with no talent. C'MON!"
As luck would have it Marya has been nominated for the KORA awards with the same track Sishiki simu. Marya is the only female artist nominated from Kenya for the Best Female East Africa category. She will be up against Uganda’s Juliana, Tanzanian Saida Karoli and two other artists from Ethiopia.
Other Kenyan artists nominated for the prestigious awards are hip hop group Camp Mulla for the Best African Group category while Jimmy Gait and Redsan tussle for the Best Male East African artist of the year award.
