Teen hip hop group Camp Mulla has once again missed
out on another major award that could earn it the “bragging rights” in
Africa. After failing to clinch Nigeria’s Headies Awards in the African
Artiste of the Year, the group has once again been beaten to the MOBO
(Music of Black Origin) Awards.
Camp Mulla lost the prestigious award (FYI it’s the British equivalent of BET Awards) to Nigeria’s Dapo Oyebanjo (D’banj). The Koko master beat stiff competition to clinch the prize effectively shrugging off competition from pop heavy weights P-Square and the very best of African acts including Spoek Mathambo, Fally Ipupa, Sarkodie, Cabo Snoop and Amadou & Mariam had all been in his way.
Now Camp Mulla only has Channel O Music Video Awards left. And you can make this budding group win this using your vote. Click HERE to vote for Camp Mulla and other Kenyan artistes in the competition because voting closes TODAY!
