2011 Tanzanian Big Brother Africa contestant Bhoke Egina is the new Ahadi Trust
Tanzania ambassador. Bhoke was celebrating her birthday over the weekend and
chose to forego the party that had been arranged by her friends to attend an
anti-jigger’s campaign that was held in Tanzania.
Speaking during the two day event
held in Moshi, Ahadi Kenya C.E.O. Stanley Kamau declared Bhoke as the Tanzanian
ambassador and said he was very thrilled with celebrities who had interest in
community work and in specific the anti jiggers campaign which is a menace in
Africa.
Joining the entourage during the
training event was 2007 Big Brother Africa winner Richard Bezuidenhout and the
Ahadi Kenya team.....
Bhoke was among 2011 BBA contestants
who went to Thika where they helped children infested with jiggers. According
to her she never knew that jiggers were a menace till she saw the children in
Kenya.
Kamau also made the announcement that
Kenya former beauty queen Cecilia Mwangi will remain as the main ambassador for
the campaigns though they are looking for ambassadors to represent every region
in Africa.
