The singer, who checked into rehab in August, was arrested for drunk driving on Wednesday in Studio City, Calif., CNN reports. This is his second drunk driving charge this year.
Police said the officer who stopped Brown smelled “a strong scent of alcohol” and performed a sobriety test on the singer. Brown, 43, was booked on suspicion of driving under the influence and later released on bond.
Brown, who has a history of drug abuse, also served eight days in jail after he was convicted for DUI in 1996.
