Mchezo ATALANTA kutikisha Tamasha la Bagamoyo

KUNDI la Das Letzte Kleinod kutoka Ujerumani leo (Jumanne) litafanya onyesho la mchezo ya kuigiza  wa ATALANTA unaozungumzia masuala ya Utekaji nyara na uharamia  wa utekaji wa meli katika Pwani ya Somalia.

 

Mchezo huo ambao umelenga kualezea masuala mbalimbali ikiwemo madhara yatokanayo na uharamia huo unaofanyika katika Pwani ya Somalia kwa zaidi ya Miaka 20, utaonyeshowa katika Tamasha la Sanaa na Utamaduni la Bagamoyo na baadaye utaonyeshwa kwenye ukumbi wa Goethe Institute jijini Dar es Salaam ijumaa.

 

Kwa mujibuwa Mratibu wa Kikundi hicho Juliane Lenssen, mchezo huo  wa ATALANTA umeandaliwa kutokana na ripoti iliyotokana na utafiti uliofanywa na mwandishi na muongozaji wa mchezo huo Jens-Erwin Siemssen katika pwani ya Somalia, na pwani za Afrika Masharki.

Amesema kundi hicho kimepata mwaliko wa Wizara ya Habari, Vijana, Utamaduni na Michezo kuja Tanzania kuonyesha mchezo huo ambapo pia umshirikisha wasanii wawili kutoka Tanzania, mmoja kutoka Kenya na wengine kutoka Ujerumani.

Huu ni mchezo wa pili kwa kikundi hiki kutengeneza kuhusisna na masuala mbalimbali ya Afrika ambapo mwaka 2007, kikundi hiki kiliandaa mchezo wa Mkono wa Damu ambao ulikuwa ukizungumzia masuala mbalimbali ya utumwa  ambao ulionyesha katika nchi mbalimbali na kwa hapa Tanzania ulionyesha katika miji ya Bagamoyo na Zanzibar.

Documentary theatre about piracy off the Somali coast on stage at BAF

The Tanzanian Ministry of Culture has invited the theater “Das Letzte Kleinod” to play the pirate-play at the 31st Bagamoyo Arts and Culture Festival Today (Tuesday).

 

The theatre “Das Letzte Kleinod” stages a documentary play about ​​piracy in the late summer of 2012. The play tells the story of the dramatic events in the Horn of Africa.

Somalia is suffering from the civil war and from famine since twenty years. At the coasts of Somalia pirates are hijacking, robbing and kidnapping ships of the rich. The crews are desperately trying to defend their lives and goods.

The documentary play ATALANTA is produced by oral reports from participants. Therefore, the author Jens-Erwin Siemssen interviewed Marines of the anti-piracy deployment, ship owners and the crew of a hijacked ship. For this research Siemssen also traveled to East Africa. On Zanzibar, a sailor told him his 11-months lasting hostage confinement on a container ship hijacked by pirates.

In the summer the documentary theater performance takes place at the Little Theatre Club in Mombasa / Kenya and is afterwards staged in North Germany. The play also will be staged in Dar es Salaam at the Goethe Institute.
