Just when we thought the Jaguar-Prezzo beef fire had died, the spark lit again. Although the self-proclaimed King of Bling Prezzo’s comeback was welcomed with an award, this did not go well with Jaguar.
Prezzo was recently feted for ‘revolutionising the entertainment industry’ at the Golden Mic Awards but Jaguar feels that it was not deserved. “His comeback is a bit mature and I hope he maintains it but I don’t think he deserved the award; it should have gone to Kenzo,” Jaguar who was also awarded in absentia told Word Is. At the time of the awards, Jaguar was performing in Tanzania. “Prezzo should in fact give the award to Kenzo,” he added.
Reached for comment, Prezzo dismissed Jaguar saying that as far as he is concerned, Jaguar can only be a car.“I don’t know either of them. Everyone’s entitled to their own opinion. Tell CMC (Jaguar dealership) I’m happy for their well wishes and I will come for a test drive soon. If I like it then I might buy it,” Prezzo said.
On his part, Kenzo opted to stay neutral. “I’m flattered that Jaguar thinks I deserved the award but I’d rather not interfere with their issues. I wish both of them all the best,” the Jiachilie singer said. Beef between the two has lasted for over a year and started when Jaguar dared Prezzo to stop riding on his riches and concentrate on his music. Prezzo denied knowing Jaguar.
