THE several bashings Funke Adesiyan has been receiving from the media lately has got the actress on edge and she is determined to keep quiet, if that’s how she could defend herself against pen pushers.
In efforts to confirm if it was true that she had started selling off some of the things she stuffed her Bodija, Ibadan mansion with, she said she was driving and asked R to text the questions that needed her answers.
Three hours without getting her promised response, R called her back
Asked if it was true she had been forced to leave Ibadan for another city as reports had it that her landlord was pissed off after reading in the papers that she said she outrightly bought the property from the owner.
Words were that the landlord planned to eject her from the building, and refund her rent, but for appeals from the actress.
In anger, she replied:” Please stop bothering me. I have nothing to say to you press guys. Talk to my publicist”, she cut short the conversation.
The publicist, however, pleaded for calm as he responded to the questions earlier sent to Funke via sms.
“Funke is very angry at the moment because of the reports she has been reading about her beauty emporium and spa in recent times.
“She was particularly pained because some sections of the media have been writting that she had sold her things and moved to Lagos.
“She has not left Ibadan, she has just been out of town”’.
