Jay-Z snapped up a Sports Emmy for for Outstanding Music Composition/ Direction/ Lyrics for their renditions of "Run This Town" during last year's sporting events. Jay-Z is named as a composer on his track that played before the Superbowl.
Congrats. And speaking of Jay, his wife Beyonce and Bruno Mars have reportedly recorded vocals for a track that will appear on Jay & Kanye's upcoming Watch The Throne collabo album due out this summer.
In other news, Baby is spending up his money quickly these days. The Cash Money Millionaire daddy figure to Lil Wayne snapped up the luxe Maybach Exelero.
The car goes for $10 million...but Baby copped it for a cool $8 million. Oh, but that's not all. Baby tweeted a pic of the car in red saying he's going to get it a paint job as well:
The car, which reaches speeds of 217 mph, is completely custom and just became available to the public in 2008. I guess his candy painted Maybach will join his other million dollar cars--the Maybach Landaulet and the Bugatti Veyron. Do you boo.
