Beyonce Knowles rocked the Billboard Music Awards stage tonight with her first televised performance of "Run The World (Girls)" and her acceptance for the Billboard Millennium Award.
Missed it? We've got you covered with pics of her cutting up in her majorly cut-out performance fit, her fab bronzed bod, and the folks who honored the Queen Bey at tonight's performance....
Beyonce definitely dipped into a different bag of tricks tonight. Her barely there performance outfit was insane (in a good way), and she kept her performance painfully simple for 90% of it. But when the techy effects and serious number of dancers kicked in at the end, we were feelin' it.
Pics of her performance, accepting the award from Mama Tina and Julez, and backstage with Kelly & Michelle:
Can we discuss Mama Tina's teleprompter reading skills? Maybe it was just nerves. *side eye*
And she napped some pics with her girls backstage:
Cute.
Here's video Beyonce's tribute with words from Barbra Streisand, First Lady Michelle Obama, her papa Mathew Knowles, and more. Also her performance and her acceptance speech that had us saying "Awwwww." She thanked Kelly and Michelle (and even Latvia and Letoya) for their Destiny's Child days, and she expressed her love for her "best friend" and hubby saying, "I love me some Jay-Z!" I know that's right...
You feelin' it?
New Music: J. Cole – ‘Return of Simba’
J. Cole just can’t wait to be king on “Return of Simba,” the latest in his series of Lion King-inspired songs. “Let me show you how to move in a room full of dudes who don’t got a fu**in’ clue how to do this,” growls the Roc Nation rapper over the soulful beat produced by himself and Elite, while proclaiming his arrival. “I’ma be here for a while, none of these clowns can hurt me.” His official single drops in the coming week, but hear him roar below.
