WOW! 2011 NBA All-Star Slam Dunk Contest Blake Griffin is the Winner

Blake Griffin holds the trophy after winning the slam dunk contest Saturday night.

Blake Griffin was this year's favorite for the 2011 All-Star Dunk Contest and he delivered a spectacular performance on his dunks over the weekend. He jumped over a car while a gospel choir sung R. Kelly's "I Believe I Can Fly" to give him inspiration. It worked because he did it on the first try and won over the judges!

When accepting his award, Griffin dedicated his trophy to his late friend and high school teemmate Wilson Holloway who died after a long battle with Hodgkins lymphoma.

"I wanted to do this, not just for myself but for him," Griffin said. "I think I'm actually going to give this [trophy] to his family. That's why I really wanted to win."
