Like an old country western, with a black cast, there's a showdown in a Texas courtroom today. Steve Harvey and his ex-wife Mary Harvey finally have their day in court bringing to a climax the mudslinging that's been going on for the past few weeks. Get the deets inside plus news about the latest book from the world's most infamous video vixen.
Today, Steve and Mary Harvey will meet in a Collins County, Texas court room to hear the comedian's request for sanctions. Mary is accused of violating an injunction against talking about the family’s custody case over the Internet.
There's also word that Marjorie Harvey, the current Mrs. Steve Harvey, is considering filing a defamation suit against Mary for the smack she talked about her in the videos on youtube.
As we told earlier, Steve believes Mary prevented him from getting a show with Oprah. In one of her youtube clips, Mary said,
“As I sit and talk and speak right now, there’s a lawsuit that’s been filed against me in Texas, because in Steve’s opinion, I was responsible when Oprah didn’t give him a TV show. I’m being sued for that as I sit here on this sofa today.”
Steve Harvey’s attorney, Bobbie Edmonds responded to the youtube clip saying,
“We are appalled and aware of the videos and the other fabricated documents, which were placed on the internet over the weekend by the ex-wife of Mr. Steve Harvey, which contained false, misleading, derogatory, disparaging, malicious, explicit and slanderous information about Mr. Harvey, his current wife and others.”

One thing we can say for Ms. Steffans is she has carved a niche for herself in the erotica market and she keeps pumping out the materials.
So will we be getting the scoop on any hip-hop allstars? Maybe. Karrine says the book is Faction (fact + fiction). But no names will be mentioned.
