It is no secret that the Pussycat Dolls is simply another name for Nicole Scherzinger’s gang of trusty backup dancers. This could not have been more evident than at ‘Fashion Rocks’ 2006 when Melody Thornton made the mistake of stealing the spotlight which caused Scherzinger to become obviously upset.
In fact, Scherzinger made it a point to position herself in front of Thornton while the latter was still singing her part of the song and attempted to nudge her to return to the background. Watch the drama unfold around the 2:20 mark.
