Sources around Tony are saying Eva is only playing the victim role that she didn't know what was going on and that her divorce filing wasn't planned. According to sources around Tony, Eva knew about the sexting relationship between him and his former teammate Brent Barry's wife, Erin, and that it ended months ago. But he denies ever having physical sex with Erin.
Tony also says they made a decision weeks ago about this divorce, and he planned to file in San Antonio because it was convenient. But Eva strategized to file the papers in L.A. the same week as her big Us Weekly magazine interview.
Either way, Tony doesn't really want to speak on it himself. Before his game against the Bulls last night, he told the local San Antonio TV station this:
“This is a difficult time right now for me and Eva, Tony said according to KENS 5, a local San Antonio TV station reports. “Everything else is our private life.”

Meanwhile, Tony's alleged mistress, Erin Barry, has just started her own divorce proceedings. Her former Spur of a husband Brent just filed his papers. He states that the two have "ceased to live together as husband and wife” and cites irreconcilable differences. Drama.
