In the book, Oprah: A Biography, infamous author Kitty Kelley alluded to the fact that Oprah had feuds with a cast member of The Color Purple. And at Oprah's 2006 Legends Ball, when Whoopi was not invited, this raised many eyebrows.
On the show, Oprah says,
Whoopi came up to me and she said, ‘Can I just ask you something? Did I do something to you? I said, ‘What are you talking about?’
“[Whoopi] says, ‘All these years, you know, we’ve been disconnected and I just want to know, did I do something?’ I said, ‘All these years I thought you were mad at me.’

Sounds like there was a lack of communication going on for nearly 20 years. But I'm glad this petty "non existent" feud is over and also excited to see young Celie and Nettie all grown up.
