Trick or treat? Indeed, that’s what we asked ourselves upon hearing that R&B singer Keri Hilson is set to release yet another single from her ‘No Boys Allowed’ LP in the form of ‘The Way You Love Me’. An epic video for which was shot earlier this week.
Full story (as well star-studded video set pics, and a live performance) after the jump…
According to Rap-Up, the uptempo release is being given the full works treatment by Hilson’s label – most notably with its accompanying video.
Directed by choreographer Laurie Ann Gibson (in her directorial debut), the short film features cameos from the likes of Faith Evans, JoJo, the Teflon Don Rick Ross, Polow Da Don, Columbus Short and Lloyd. The ladies in the clip reportedly play bounty hunters.

Sounds interesting. Although it does beggar the question; is this a last ditch effort to salvage Hilson’s sales prospects? For none of the LP’s earlier released singles have done much of anything on the charts (see: ‘Breaking Point’ and ‘Pretty Girl Rock’). This despite the album’s release date fast approaching (November 30th).
To be fair, kudos are most certainly in order for Hilson’s team. This is a quintessential example of pulling out all the stops. If only certain other labels would do the same for their artists *cough Kelly Rowland / Universal Motown cough*
In any case, check out Hilson’s recent performance of ‘The Way You Love Me’ in New York. Video set pics follow…
