Time has finally come for Rihanna to test the Hollwood waters. The Bajan singer is presently on location in Hawaii filming Battleship, a motion picture directed by Peter Berg (Hancock).
Per IMDB, the movie’s about “a fleet of ships is forced to do battle with an armada of unknown origins in order to discover and thwart their destructive goals.”The movie also stars Tom Arnold(Roseanne) and Alexander Skarsgård of True Blood fame. Every now and then I look at singers and think, “he/she would be great on the big screen.” It’s not really the case for Rihanna. Then again, she seems to be sort of soft spoken in interviews and definitely turns it on whenever performing, so she has the ability to become someone else. Acting’s another world, though. It remains to be seen. What do you guys think? Can Rihanna become a well respected actress in Hollywood? How do you think she’ll do in her first role?
