Friday night at the Urbanworld Film Festival was a sold-out success, as hundreds flocked to see the premiere of Mooz-lum, directed by Qasim Basir and starring Nia Long, Danny Glover, Evan Ross, Roger Guenveur Smith, Dorian Missick and newcomer Maryam Basir.
Rocafella will feature interviews from some of the cast members of the independent film Mooz-lum with a great reason why you should see it. It's a socially conscious film that will hopefully open your eyes to the community of Islamic people in the United States.
That should be available to you guy sometime in the coming days.
Additional premieres included Bouncing Cats (narrated by Common and starring the Rock Steady Crew’s Crazy Legs), Kid Capri Presents: The Lionz Den and Hear Me, directed by Kenn Michael.
In the mean time, check out some flicks of the cast members who graced the red carpet.
