As Nicki Minaj continues to ready her hotly anticipated ‘Pink Friday’ LP for its November 23rd release, a new cut from the set has surfaced in the form of ‘Right Through Me’.

Hmm. For all it’s pluses (see: radio friendly, instantly likable, and whatnot), the song proves somewhat problematic in the grand scheme of things. I mean, when posing the question of how this stands next to the material Minaj has been releasing not only as of late, but in her ‘building fanbase phase’, I’m left none-the-wiser as to what sound she is looking to establish as her own. At the minute, it’s seeming a bit ‘try everything and see what sticks’.
