R&B singer Keri Hilson has been laying low as of late recording her sophomore album; this, however, has not stopped the 27 year old from performing across the globe. Case, point, example, her recent promotional trip to Tokyo for the Summer Sonic Festival.

Straining (at times) aside, Hilson delivered a solid showing. Though not the most rousing of performers, it’s hard to deny her growth and increasing consistency – something which makes the critique often levelled against her somewhat confusing.
