‘ROUND THE WAY: ICE CUBE TALKS ABOUT LOTTERY TICKET, MONTANA FISHBURNE, MUSIC and MORE

Actor, director and rapper, Ice Cube sat down with BET.COM in a recent interview. The film writer discussed his new film, “Lottery Ticket,” upcoming music, film & TV projects, and his thoughts on Montana Fishburne’s choice of occupation:

On what to expect from “Lottery Ticket”:
“It’s funny. Anybody looking to come up, go check it out because Bow Wow shows you how to do it.”

On his upcoming album, ‘I Am the West’:
“It will be out next month, the 28th of September. It’s a West Coast record. It’s like all the West Coast artists from the last 10 years been trying to figure out what kind of record we need to do to—I hate the word get back on top—but just get back in the game. It has been too long and it’s really time for us to do what we do best and that’s what this record is.”

His thoughts on Montana Fishburne’s new career:
“I don’t like it. I feel for Larry Fishburne and it’s just a sad situation. Every father ‘s job is to keep their daughter out of that. But it’s really on her. He didn’t do nothing wrong. She trippin’.”

On upcoming film & TV projects:
“I got “Are We There Yet?” the television series, that’ll be back on in December. I’m about to film a movie with Woody Harrelson called “Rampart.” “Rampart” is one of the most corrupt divisions of the LAPD, so that’s cool. I’m also touring with my record, hustling and keeping it moving.” [ SOURCE ]
