It looks like the greatest duo to ever do it in hip-hop has returned to give us the goods.
With Big Boi releasing his new LP Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty, on July 6, it was only right Mr. Leftfoot bring the duo back together.
However, due to the politics over at Jive Records (the duos former home) the powers that be won’t clear Andre 3000’s verse thus leaving the cut off Big’s album. Big said of the travesty via his Twitter account, ““Jive Records is trying to block 3 Stacks from being on the album. Boi Stop!!!!”
One reason they might hesitant to keep 3 Stacks off the project is due to the fact they passed on the project before its completion. Big also brought up the point of Jive not understanding the creative direction of the project and now they’re hating on it because everyone loves it. Oh the irony.
Anyway, check out the cut “Lookin For Ya” which features Outkast and Sleepy Brown which was produced by Boi-1da.
