The festival selection committee meets at the beginning of August to decide the artists for SzB2011. All applicants will be notified of the selection committee decision by email during September.
Your application can only be considered if we have received a completed application from you by 31 July 2010. Your application must include the following:
• a completed form including a short biography (max 1000 words)
• one or two recent recordings (CD or DVD)
• one or two photographs (JPG or paper)
Please send recordings, photographs and any other material to our office address given below.

Busara Promotions is a Zanzibar-based international NGO working to enhance social, cultural and economic growth through building appreciation of the region’s music, developing skills and opportunities, strengthening arts infrastructure and networks.
The organisation seeks to recruit experienced and committed professionals, starting May – June 2010 to assist in delivering its new Five Year Strategic Plan.

Do you have
• A passion for African music?
• Mimimum 3 years experience in events management, ICT/web design or fundraising?
Are you
• Available to work in Zanzibar for the next two years?
• Fluent in English and Kiswahili?
• Conscientious, motivated, easy-going and confident to work alone or as part of a team?
