One day he’s in jail, the next day he’s out. Atlanta rapper Waka Flocka Flame was released from Houston County prison on Saturday after being detained for violating his probation last Wednesday (March 17).
Flame (born Juaqin James Malphurs) was nearing the end of his probation when he was arrested by Houston County authorities for crossing state lines, a clear probation violation. News broke of Wacka being released from jail via his Twitter page when he tweeted, “The guard coming lol GONE.”
Waka checked into Baltimore’s 92Q radio station to briefly discuss his arrest and assure them he’d be making an appearance in their city this Wednesday (March 24).
“I'll be in Baltimore on Wednesday to turn that up for the masses,” Flocka told 92Q listeners. “I don’t know why these folks snatched me up. I was only in there for two and a half days.” Representatives from Houston County or Waka’s legal team have yet to comment on the matter.
