Bebe gets long-awaited Hummer

Almost two years ago, Ugandan reggae singer Bebe Cool spoke about buying himself a Hummer and so much has been said about the car since.

The much hyped state-of-the-art Hummer car finally arrived in Kampala on Wednesday (24.02.2010) afternoon and the singer, who is still on crutches after a shooting incident earlier this month, could not hold back his joy.

The H2 Hybrid 2004 model arrived at Bebe’s Ntinda home at 2 p.m. to the excitement of the singer and his family.

''Finally, the machine is in town. They thought I could not have it. This is Bebe and nothing is impossible,'' said the musician on phone.

However, the singer will not use the car until it goes for valuation and taxation at Nakawa. Bebe now joins the league of fuel guzzler owners in Kampala with the new car.

Chameleone, Bobi Wine both own Escalades and Range Rovers.

The singer plans customise it with personalised registration plates, MUNENE. His other car, a Range Rover, is registed as BAFFUDDE.
