During a speech at her Angel Wings Foundation dinner last weekend, Jessica White revealed details about her abusive childhood and her plans to partner with Russell Simmons on an anti-child abuse campaign......
While delivering a speech at her Angel Wings Foundation dinner at Georgica in East Hampton last weekend, model Jessica White revealed she was abused as a child.
Though the admission was hard, Jessica said,
"I wanted the world to know. It just came out, and I realized, standing there, that I was healed."
Saying that she has "the blood of a warrior," she also announced that she's creating an online campaign to help victims of child abuse with Russell Simmons and Gabrielle Union, as well as organizing an Angel Wings gala in November. It's great to see Jessica putting this together and giving back. I wonder if her past drug abuse was related to the child abuse she suffered?

After this ish broke these past couple days--revealed charges of weapon possessions and probation violations and assaults--Marlo sent out a statement to clear up things. Kinda.
"It has come to my attention that some of my past indiscretions have come to light. Let me first state that I am not ashamed of my past as that has helped me become a better woman today. We all have a past and my hard-knock childhood in and out of the Foster Care system is a reflection on a bigger issue we are faced with here in America, a broken Foster Care system. My present charge in life is to live with God in my heart and help young women especially from the foster care system avoid the challenges I faced. Kanye West Developing Fashion Line in Paris
Kanye West is reigniting his fashion career. The dapper rapper is reportedly working on his own clothing line in the fashion capital of the world.
Mr. West is said to be developing a high-end collection for both men and women, a source close to him tells The Telegraph. He has set up shop at a studio in Paris to begin work.
This is not his first foray into fashion. Kanye, a regular fixture at runway shows, scrapped plans for his Pastelle line in 2009 and most recently released a limited collection of scarves inspired by the artwork for his latest album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.
He is expected to present Céline designer Phoebe Philo with an award at the CFDA Fashion Awards on June 6 and recently performed at the memorial for legendary poet Gil Scott-Heron.
